Looks like a plot to get rid of the prostitution in the area...

Anyway, Livni, I'm not sure you travel around Tel Aviv often, but I am sure that many people, including myself, would be very angry if the bridges around the station would disappear. It would delay access by about 5-20 minutes (depending on the direction you're coming from) due to traffic jams and therefore make it very difficult to go anywhere via Tel Aviv, which is now the central transportation hub in all Israel and has buses to everywhere (it's very convenient). I'd probably cut my use of public transportation by about 75% if the bridges were to go, and I'm a soldier! (free public transportation).
