Cool "Time Out Beirut" magazine will be back!

Time Out
Beirut

The Arts & Entertainment Magazine!

Beirut's favourite entertainment and listings magazine is on its way back

July '06

A word from the publisher,

Beirut. A city of dreams. Not broken dreams as is always thought. The opportunity to document this world, this Beirut and Lebanon through one of the most respected and exceptional magazine brands in the world, Time Out, was one to be seized with vigor.

Imagine, for 15 years the city had been growing into itself, exploring its past, rebuilding its architecture, learning itself almost and filling with creative people - a ‘scene’ of musicians, artists, writers, performers, filmmakers and actors - screaming out for a printed forum of criticism, a guide to the best of what’s on and what to do. Time Out Beirut, which launched its first Issue in April and reached number one by July, was that magazine.

But there is hope. Though the economy has been battered, though so many talented have fled, the city’s nightlife is no longer on hold and arts and entertainment is coming back slowly to Lebanon. Its people are resilient, they are survivors with a love of their land and determination to make it the nation it can be. They will not give up. And neither will Time Out Beirut!

Time Out Beirut magazine will resume its publication in Lebanon with a re-launch in December. Time Out Beirut online will launch October 9th, updated weekly with previous issues digitally available online.

The people need Time Out Beirut, the country needs Time Out Beirut, and we need Time Out Beirut to truly document what a fantastic city, what a fantastic people, and what a fantastic nation Lebanon truly is.
