^ That is a good point. And let me add that 35.000.000 Euros is not a big sum of money for such a project (I think Istanbul circuit was over 100 mil).

On the other hand there are other important races that this circuit could host as well. There is no equivalent in Greece. Maybe also as a training circuit for the Italian teams. Patras is after all the gateway of Greece to italy |
