So you love diversity in the city. Hehe, right, there are not much cities in the world where you have so close Old Town and cluster of towers. So bad Warsaw was totally destroyed in 1944
But well, maybe if not those sad times (for Warsaw's architecture) we wouldn't have any chance to build towers in the very core of the city now. Who knows...
BTW, Palace of Culture and Science was the most hated building in Warsaw for long years, until now, when we are finally able to forget about it's communistic roots (it's "gift from the Soviet nation to the Polish nation" and its full name was Palace of Culture and Science of J.Stalin and it was "granted to Warsaw" instead of metro system
). Now PC&S is historical building (>50 y.o.), one of the most recognized buildings of Warsaw and... looks quite nice among all those towers
