In the heart of Istanbul, a timeless city which cherishes its captivating past and conceives its dynamic future, TIM is ready to stage first-rate performing arts events as well as host local and international conferences. Opened officially in November 2005, TIM boasts a Grand Hall with a capacity of 2010 seats, a second theater hall with a capacity of 380, five cinemas and five meeting rooms for smaller gatherings and workshops. All the facilities are equipped with up-to-date technologies and are designed to bring its guests utmost comfort and satisfaction.

The construction of the TIM building started in April,2003 and was completed in June 2005. The venue was designed by the acclaimed architect Yılmaz Sanlı, while Haluk Çetin contributed as the Construction Architect and Architect Çağlayan Tuğal carried out the Interior Decoration of the venue. TIM opened officially in November 2005.
TIM is located in Maslak on a site owned by Darüssafaka Society and is a multi-purposed project operated with build-operate & transfer method.
TIM is the newest center of culture, art, conference and entertainment and is designed with most up-to-date technologies.
TIM offers a wide range of possibilities under one roof, with its Grand Hall with a 2010 seat capacity, elegant Main Foyer of 800m2 with wireless internet LAN facility, 5 movie-theatres, 1 theatre hall, cafe/ bars, restaurant and 5 stores.
