pues me parece un termino despectivo ya que son ESTADOUNIDENSES o como ellos se dicen Americanos el ponerlos como un grupo separado es como decir que no los aceptan como parte de la poblacion estadounidense
y los "Mexico-Americanos" me parecen bastante arrogantes
