I think one problem for startup companies like this is getting out their product to the outside world. A no-name startup simply does not have a resources and/or the advertizing power to go out and make their product known. In other words, if they had retained the rights to the product, it probably wouldn't have sold 'like a hot cake'. However, I do agree that there are other alternatives, like partnering up with larger multi-national companies in order to sell the product. |
