I agree with what you say about our government , but I think this warning is meaningless.
There is no scientific way to predict earthquakes at the moment and nobody can tell whether it will strike in 5 minutes or 5 thousand years.
All those predictions are based upon statistics and not some actual data.
In fact I think it was a bad idea to issue that warning because if it doesnt materialize , people will be even more careless about what actually might happen any minute.
All that doesnt mean of course that no preparations should be made and we should be careless like we are now. |
