Such machines are impossible based on the 2nd law of thermodynamics. This dates back to 8th century where people tried to invent such machines (Perpetual motion machines) which outputs energy without any external input, but they gave up shortly.
Scientifically, 2nd law of thermodynamics has not been disproved up to date.
If they claim that they disproved the 2nd law, then all the science in the 18th and 19th century have to be rewritten!
