It was 110 000 during the 2000 Olympics then they got rid of the big end stands and completed the roof so it covered all the seats, which took the capacity down to 83 500.
Now there are plans to take the capacity back up to 92 000 however these plans are unlikely to go through as it only sells out half-a-dozen times a year as it is.
