Yeah, and personally I like that... who wants huge concrete motorways slicing through a suburb like Melbourne's Eastlink? that to me is ugly! Hence I much prefer tunnels... I just wish it was 3 lanes each way so they could put underground rail through it... rather than just 2 lanes.
Also, I think this Airportlink project is needed much more than the NSBT because Brisbane seems to be the only city in Australia where you have to drive through a suburban area WITH traffic lights to get to the city... So I bloody hope they hurry it up.
