 interesting choices of finish on the roadway
Its an odd mix of strictly utilitarian concrete pours, and some pre-moulded applied surfaces, as well as some decorative moulded pours. A bit confused in some ways.
If you compare this to the finish on the work for Hale St, its much more functional at this point. -the various walkways are doubless going to get a finish, but the roadway itself is pretty basic.
We'll have to see how this turns out. It'll all look terrible in 20 years time if they don't keep the maintenance work up (rust blemishes from iron inclusions in the aggregate seem to be a bit of a problem around Brisbane Busways)
