Hello, quite surprised to see that the airport is built between houses, here in Holland this would entail lots of complaints and lawsuits about noise and other pollution and also danger of crashes. At Schiphol we had in 1992 a crash involving an Israeli freight plane which hit an apartment building (at least 63 dead) and this year a Turkish Airways plane fell in a field killing 9 people on board. Is in Turkey such a risk seen as normal and is plane noise still Sound of Progress?
