| Would be great ![]() But even open sky policy doesn't mean the biggest players will allow the real competition. There are still hundreds of ways to make competitors' life miserable. BTW, congrats to BG Airport. You just surpassed airport in Warsaw | |||||||||||

| Yea, you're right, when it comes to traveling, Israel doesn't have to many options in the local region. | |||||||||||

| Third largest UK airline to start Israel flights British Midland intends to operate a daily flight to Israel from Heathrow Airport. Dalia Tal 11 Sep 07 17:22 British Midland, the UK's third largest airline, will launch flights to Israel in the spring of 2008. An agreement to this effect was recently signed by the Ministry of Transport and the Department of Transport in the UK. British Midland intends to operate a daily flight to Israel from Heathrow Airport. The company says the approval was granted following intensive lobbying by the UK government to allow the route to Israel to be opened up to additional carriers. The carriers currently operating regular flights to London are El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. (TASE: ELAL), and British Airways (LSE:BAY). Low budget airline Thomsonfly is due to begin running six weekly flights to Israel from November. The entry of a further carrier is expected to increase seating capacity, thereby bringing down airfares. Thomsonfly's agreement includes a safety net whereby it will be compensated almost in full should it be unable to fill 60% of the seats on any of its flights.
