IEC bids in Cyprus project

The utility is bidding in a tender to build a $50 million ultra-high tension power line.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) (TASE: ELEC.B22) is bidding in a $50 million Cypriot tender to build a 80-100 kilometer ultra-high tension power line. An IEC delegation recently visited Cyprus for the bid.

This is the second project in which IEC is bidding in on the island. In August, IEC announced that it expected to bid in an Electricity Authority of Cyprus tender to build a 50-60 megawatt power plant, at a cost of $60-80 million, to be built ten kilometers north of Larnaca. IEC said that the power station is due to come on line in 2010 and will initially run on crude oil until a conversion to natural gas.

IEC said in response, "The company is pursuing its efforts to obtain more work. The company is reviewing a tender published in Cyprus to build the ultra-high tension line."

הבנייה בפרויקט, שגודלו כ-24 דונמים, נמצאת בעיצומה בימים אלו, והוא מיועד לפלח השוק העליון.
Koregaon Park הינה שכונה יוקרתית של העיר פונה, במערבה של הודו.
פלאזה סנטרס, המתמחה בפיתוח ובנייה של מרכזי קניות ובידור בשווקים "מתעוררים" מסרה כי הפרויקט מכיל בנייה מעורבת של משרדים ובתי תענוגות, ויכיל מרכז מסחרי גדול, בגודל מוערך של כ-83,500 קמ"ר. לשטחי המשרדים יוקצו כ-27,500 קמ"ר.
החברה מעריכה כי הפרויקט יושלם במהלך המחצית הראשונה של 2010.

Alony Hetz pulls out of India deal

The real estate company says that its partner, a US investment fund, failed to obtain the necessary permits as stipulated in the original agreement.

Alony Hetz Property and Investments Ltd. (TASE: ALHE) today announced that it was cancelling a planned investment in Pune, India, after its US partner failed to obtain the necessary permits as stipulated in the original agreement. The company did not disclose the name of its partner, except to say that it is a US investment fund.

The 110-acre lot in Pune, about 150 kilometers southeast of Mumbai, is slated for a large mixed use project.

In April, Alony Hetz's US subsidiary, Enabler Property Group, signed a memorandum of understanding with the US investment fund to purchase of a lot in Pune state for $25 million. Alony Hetz planned to acquire 40% of the fund's Mauritius-based subsidiary, which owns 94% of a company in India, with the remaining 6% owned by a local real estate developer.

Fishman Group to build Bangkok's tallest tower - 77 floors, 310m.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter 2009 and is expected to be completed in 2013. The tower will include 200 Ritz-Carlton Residences, The Edition Bangkok boutique hotel and a luxury-lifestyle retail centre.

"We want to enter Asia and chose to do so in Thailand because we believe the country has good potential for long-term investment despite the politcal problems," Anat Menipaz-Fishman, managing director of the Fishman Group, said.
Fishman, through its publicly listed Industrial Building Corp announced the joint venture with Thailand's Pace Development group to invest 18 billion baht ($410 million) in the luxury mixed-use tower in Bangkok.
