Bat-Yam international biennale of landscape urbanism

"The first biennale of landscape urbanism will open on April 13th 2008. This international event will present 30 outdoor rooms in the public domain. All sites will be open to the public and introduce innovative ways for using urban open spaces, integrating community projects and students proposals together with designs by artists, architects and landscape architects."

Location: Bus stations
Twenty five panoramic photos of Bat-Yam homes, printed on large scale posters and displayed on bus stops in town, create a route of “House Calls”. Domestic space is the guest of public space , in the guise of the bus-stop, which acts as a virtual extension. The street and the commuters reflected on the photographed homes are transformed into house guests

אני בטוח שחלק מהפרויקטים ישארו בשטח כמו גנים ומזרקות שהשקיעו בהם די הרבה מאמץ
הבעיה שלי היא שחלק מהדברים נחמדים אבל למשל הקלקרים מאד מזהמים ואי אפשר למחזר אותם והיה אפשר לחשוב במיוחד בביאנלה לאדריכלות נוף על כך שלא יהיה שימוש בחומרים מזיקים כמו קלקר
אבל חוץ מזה הרעיון ממש יפה ובאתר יש תמונות משאר הפרויקטים שגם נראים מוצלחים ואולי התושיבם יקחו יוזמה אחרי הארוע ויפתחו הלאה עוד גינות ושטחים ציבוריים
