genius or hoax? so believe it or not in japan: a car running on water.
the car needs just 1 litre of water to run for 1 hour at 80 kms..

but from where comes the energy to convert it? sounds to me too good to be true..

I have seen a few of these demonstrations. My guess is that they are a hoax. The old saying is if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

If these systems work I'll be a late adopter. Let the early adopters pay and work out any unintended consequences.

There are lots of offers of kits on the INTERNET many for under $100 if the systems really worked there would be lots of news coverage about it. There are enough smart people with money that would jump at the chance to put the oil companies out of business

look at the better place project in Israel. $200 million raised for a complicated plan to launch the use of an electric car.

These water to fuel projects would have found a serious investor and wouldn't be INTERNET only offers.

Actually I read some articles showing that "Better place" project also is a scam.
Electric cars are still not economical enough and it was claimed (and rightly so imo) that the accumulators used will bring more damage to the nature then the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
To be perfectly frank I think electric cars make sense only if we move away from coal/oil/gas power plants and move to atomic energy which is the only viable "green" alternative at the moment.
