Two Israeli product designers from Bezalel came up with a new pasta, one that can also makes sounds - a paste whistle, or Pasta Fischio. the research produced new patented pasta forms from zitoni tagliati type with a complex extrusion dent and puncture processes often used to shapes materials like pvc. The whistling pasta design makes two different sounds from each end. The pasta was recently shown at the SIAL world food exhibition in paris.
