To be able to paint as broad a picture as possible, we checked blueprints for 30 apartments and buildings around the country. The projects were:

The average price of the apartments: For three rooms, NIS 930,000. For four rooms, NIS 1.12 million. For five rooms, NIS 1.385 million. For a penthouse, NIS 2.7 million. (G.L.)

you know what? this "article" looks like they have to fill newspapers every week and running out of what to write in them.
so stupid to try and make an average price from all the cities with such price differences even between suburbs inside them.
Also - note how they left out the north and south, so as not to spoil their "average".
If this is how the article was published its pure stupidity from start to finish.

It shows what average prices are. Whenever you have averages there will be higher and lower prices. I know that the prices in south Bat Yam are higher. It does give an idea of what new construction costs in Israel today. The prices of older apartments are much lower.
