The mall built by Azriely group is opening today.
It is located right above the underground train station (I think first of its kind in Israel).
It is going to be pretty impressive too.
140 different stores , out of which 85 will be open now and the rest in the end of the month.
The construction cost was 500 million NIS and took 4 years.
They also will put up 3 business and residential buildings atop the mall.
The good news that all apartments in the residential buildings will be for rent only.
Wish such projects would take in Tel Aviv too , the city badly needs apartments for rent to bring down the prices a bit.

I saw the pictures of thousands running to the mall like they never seen a mall before or like it has special gravity power pulling people.. from what I heard theres a problem with the huge underground mall parking - because they are afraid people will use it for the train. so 2 hours is free and from above 2 you have to pay or show reciet that you bought in the mall. I think they are ding something like it also in azrieli center in tlv, does someone know?

They do that in the US all the time. If the mall is in a busy area you have to pay for parking. Sometimes you can get it for free if you get a validation from a store or movie theater.

Yes, that is perfectly usual all around the world. No reason why the parking should be for free.

They started charging for parking in Givataiim mall after they discovered that most of the cars belonged to people working in the area.
