|  A bit from the nation's capital! Hello everyone!  I'm just another Venezuelan guy in the forum.. hahaha .. but wait - there's more to it, I live in Ottawa....! Since there aren't any threats about this tiny and boring but important city! I'll have to be the one to take the first step.. First of all, let me introduce Ottawa: Chateau Laurier:  Canada Post (Downtown) see also, sparks street and my finger on the top left corner:  Walking around sparks street, don't really know what that building is. But it's a really cool picture..  Ottawa 3D model: (yes, Canada day)  Museum of civilization  Downtown area (not very tall as u can see, I'm still wondering why Ottawa doesn't have tall buildings.. anyone?)  Rideau Canal:  OC transpo 128, (at st Laurent-u can see it in the reflection).  And last - BUT NOT LEAST- of course, The one and only: Parliament building  Okayy So enough of the old stuff, moving right along to what's coming soon:  LIST OF OTTAWA PROJECTS: 1. Rideau Center Expansion (This are fairly old news, they never revealed any renders, and I recently visited the mall's administration office, I was told that this wasn't taking place anytime soon.  )2. MAJOR expansion of the O-Train, This is officially happening.. but at a really slow rate, the whole project it's said to be done by 2010. For more info visit: http://ottawa.ca/residents/lrt/index_en.shtml 3. 215 Slater Street "TELUS the future is friendly" by Broccolini (height= 160.000 feet if I'm not mistaking)  4. Ottawa U new building, I haven't been able to take a picture of this one, and I'm not sure what the building is for either.. I think is for the School Of Management. |  LOL.... well the fact that there's absolutely nothing to do, guarantees that you will get really high grades haha... Ottawa is a pretty nice place if you like SLOW cities with nice enviroments, Clean, calm, perfect for having a coffee, sitting down and relaxing..
