| I wonder about this for a long time. Does shavarma have a meaning in arabic or just a name? We call it (and this kind of foods) döner (çevirme) It means turning, spinning around. So I think maybe çevirme=shavarma? ![]()

| Usually Donair is the Greek Gyros for us that are sliced beef, not sure if its the same in your country, is it made of Beef or Chicken?
