I don't want to vex you guys, but why do you want to be phoenicians too much?

Why such a need to connect yourself today to an ancient people? This reminds me of how suddenly in the 19th century in France the Gauls were popped out of nowhere to create a national identity, "our gaulish ancestors" became thaught in schools.

Why bring everything back to ethnicity?

It's simple: We are proud, and we have every right to be.

Why ignore our history and roots?
