Shall we assume that you consider Tel-Aviv's skycrapers "nice" but you're not a big fan of it's skyline?

Given the projects under construction in Panama City right now, I'd venture to say that by 2010 it will be easily among the top ten skylines worldwide.
Well technically Panama is the only country in all of Central America and the Caribbean that has a world class skyline, but other countries in Central America and the Caribbean like Santo Domingo, San Juan, Guatemala City, and San Salvador have some decent skylines that would rank in the Top 10 in Latin America.

While I agree with you in principle, I beg to differ on the scope in which those cities would rank within the top 10. I concede their respective regions (Central America and the Caribbean), but "Latin America" encompasses the megacities of South America - Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Bogota, et al. - where their "decent" skylines would not crack the top 10. Panama City (understatement alert) is the only one within C. A. or the Caribbean, that would make the top 10 in all of Latin America.

I picked up on your veiled allusion to Panama City as #1 in Latin America, a rather popular view, I might add (subpar architecture notwithstanding). But that aside, to further underscore how difficult it is for the best skylines in C. A. and the Caribbean (except for PC) to crack the top 10 in Latin America, I hereby cite 5 other cities in Brazil alone that would have legitimate claims to be in the top 10: Belo Horizonte, Recife, Fortaleza, Salvador and Belem.
