| I'd take Dubai. Sure it's dirty. But I'd rather be buried by sand than get stabbed in the city. Also NYC is crowded, the roads are massive traffic jams and the subway system offers no solace. The buildings... oh golly. The buildings are insanely large blocks of stone. I don't hate New York. But it's too 30s. But Dubai on the other hand features large impressive gardens, the largest building in the world (as of now), and everyday there is a new feat in technological and engineering advancements making Dubai the forefront of contemporary innovation. NYC can't boast that. At one point in time it could. | |||||||||||

You are not going to get stabbed in NYC. Most of what you said was complete ignorance. Ny is crowded maybe because oh i dont know IT HAS 8.3 MILLION PEOPLE AND ITS METRO AREA HAS 22 MILLION dont worry dubai will get crowded with all those tall buildings. One of the most ignorant statements ive ever heardQuote:

You complaining is redundant and doesn't help the fact that you are attacking me not Dubai. Okay maybe I won't get stabbed, I'll get robbed. New York has the third highest rank in America for robbery. That seems kinda high, seeing I want to keep my wallet when I want to go visit it. AND IT WAS A HYPERBOLE. An exaggeration, I should have put a there to indicate my joking tone. But you want to get serious. Ok.Yes I see NY has a HUGE POPULATION and even if Dubai reaches that population it will be spread over a HUGE AREA and they can also build on water. New York can't. And that is something Dubai will reign on NY in. We'll see if it gets crowded. Now your second paragraph really hurts to read. You've made NY out of be the best city in the world. But even so I can't take that away from you because of your opinion. That belongs to you, so I can only try to change it. History isn't what makes a building. Eventually they get demolished and they are forgotten, except for the fact that they are put in books and on the internet. And when you say Dubai's buildings are tall and ugly, allow me to reiterate, it's your opinion and all I can say is that it's shallow. The buildings are designed with care and consideration which allows for amazing and new buildings to be built 24/7. Your statement, Quote:
The gardens are there because in a huge city, you want somewhere to relax, and in a growing you want something attractive to bring people in. The Mohammed Bin Rashid Gardens for example are a excellent example of a park, or giant park or gardens where people live or whatever you want to call it. It's intricate designs bring a whole new meaning to design and pretty much pwn Central Park. If I had to choose between a intelligently designed garden and a large square park I'd take the former. In terms of the Bruj Dubai, I honestly have no idea what you are saying when you wrote that it had a poor design. The design amazing, if you actually stop to see what it is, and how they came up with it you'll be stunned. This so called poor design lets the tower stand at its height and provides for interesting variety compared to the rest of the squarish buildings that dominate the worlds skyline. Ironically enough, the Burj Dubai contains probably more luxury than all the tower in NY put together, and just to make it fair, I'll add the Burj Al Arab to the mix. What do you say? 2 Buildings against 6000. You bring down Dubai and insult its luxury yet within the city is the worlds only, one more time, WORLDS ONLY 7 star Hotel. That in itself proves it luxury. Plus only a few privileged people will get to live in the Burj Dubai. That's abit of my evidence of why Dubai is better than New York. Here's my opinion. Dubai pwns NYC cos itz cool. ![]() In all seriousness. I like Dubai and am willing to stand up for it, but if someone can give me a good case then I'll back off. | |||||||||||||
