Ok...I know what you're thinking;

why choose Birmingham and not London, well do you honestly think Bogota has a chance against London???

So I've chosen the second city of the World's former 4th World power (before China recently took over) to compete against a 3rd World country's first city.

This might seem an unlikely match but in fact Bogota shares a lot of architectural history with Britain, especially after the late 19th century. Also although Bogota is only a stones throw away from the Equator, it's actually located on an Andean plateau 2,600 metres above sea level giving it an Autumn-like climate almost all year round.

Also both cities are on par with eachother in the global city rankings and are showing signs of becoming Gamma world cities pretty soon.

Let the battle commence:

Birmingham pop. 2,285,000 (Met area)

Bogota pop. 7,880,000 (Met area)

Come on People lets get some votes on this thread....it's not as popular as perhaps London vs Tokio Vs New York vs Paris but its different!!!

Vamos Muchachos, Porque no estan Votando se que no es tan popular como decir Londres vs Tokio vs Nueva York vs Paris, pero todavia vale.

Ou est les gents? c'est vrais que les cites de Bogota et Birmingham n'avait pas l'importance que Londre , Tokyo, La ville de New York ou Paris mais proposer que cite est meilleur s'il vous plait!!!
