yeah both of them are Greek cities,the biggest two in Greece and i would like to know which and why do you prefer.
None of them has got lots of skyscrapers,Athens has got about 3 100m tall but Salonika has got a higher which is 120m,unfortunately it's not residential zone or offices,it's a greek industry.

Anyway,Athens has got 3 underground lines which cover the biggest part of the city,however Salonika will have underground at 2013 and only one line.

Athens is not as green and romantic as Salonika,but it has better transportation systems such as highways(with some really cool interchanges),underground lines,tram lines etc
