Recuerda que yo naci en Tegucigalpa, el centro historico se extiende desde el complejo Plaza San Martin hasta el Barrio Abajo, precisamente de ahí se comenzo a expandir la ciudad hasta lo que ahora conocemos como boulevard. Morazán y Mall Multiplaza, esos sectores antes de 1960 eran haciendas o casas de campo.

Recuerda que el Hotel Honduras Maya tienen ya cerca de 40 años.

Continuemos.
Ahora les voy a presentar la Zona "Cuadriculada" de Tegucigalpa.
Se trata del barrio de Comayagüela.


Comayagüela antes fue una ciudad gemela de Tegucigalpa separadas por el río Choluteca. Pero hace varios años se unieron y ahora forman una sola ciudad con Tegucigalpa.

por si alguna vez se preguntaron porque tegucigalpa se mira café rojiza, es porque la ciudad está asentada en suelo arcilloso. (Como las canchas de tennis) por ende hay bastante ladrillo de arcilla. Entonces casi el 90% de las construcciones en tegucigalpa son hechas con ladrillos de arcilla. Por ende se mira café.
