|  @ Dr Who Congratulating you for this Amazing thread is the least I can do. Excellent. BTW, here's my pic of the front paintings of the Athens University.  And expect more subject to my free time allowances. BTW, the Athens Academy is under complete reconstruction right now and I would expect this gem to reveal its full glory even better when fully restored. Also, one should mention that Panepistimiou street (as well as partly Acadimias and Stadiou streets) are an open neoclassical architecture exhibition, not only because of the trilogy but also because of many other buildings in there. Especially now that all of them are completely restored or are due for complete restoration in the coming months...

| Whats there to restore on the academy? Looked fine to me! Id like to see a total restore of Panepistimiou st. in the near future, It is lovely but needs some work on the ugly apartment façades.

| There is not any appartment on Panapistimou as I saw but some so-called modern business blocks between Library and Omonia. the part between Library and Syntagma is very well. my photos of those Trilogy        an example from the part between library and omonia  and example from the part between Library and Syntagma  | |||||||||||
