Smile *****Honduras: Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula Construction Projects*****

    Greetings Colleagues.

For the past 2 or 3 years Honduras is experiencing a construction boom never seen before. The two lasgest cities, Tegucigalpa (the capital) and San Pedro Sula (the industrial capital) in the country are being transformed with the construction of new industrial, commercial and housing complexes. The following are a few examples that illustrate such construction boom:

    In Tegucigalpa:

Regency Tower and Realco: “changing the skyline in Tegucigalpa”

Architect Victor Cuadra, designer of the Regency, Sr. Arturo Giacomín General Manager of Banco Lafise, Sr. Michel Brukirer President and CEO of Realco Investment.

Tegucigalpa, Honduras; "Honduras This Week", 03.31.2008. Realco Investment , a Honduran company with European capital, was specifically created to build both housing and commercial projects for different sectors within Honduras. By the initiative of Capitol Invest Belgium, Realco performed an analysis indicating Honduras is rich in development potential and also happens to have a significant housing deficit of 749,000 units. Realco’s efforts are to try and satisfy part of this demand.

    Housing project by Realco.

Realco Investment boasts an impressive team: Michel Brukirer, President and CEO of Capitol Invest, Amichai Rubin, Project Manager and Vice- President, along with a professional team of collaborators (partners) who give attention to clients and provide the valuable link between financial institutions and clients.

Realco Investment will be presenting their project to a very demanding segment of society: Regency Tower, the most ambitious and exclusive architectural project in Honduras. Regency Tower redefines luxury, security and beauty, offering New York style "splendor and sophistication" in the heart of Tegucigalpa. Located across from Mall Multiplaza in Colonia Lomas del Mayab, Regency will offer tenants a different urban lifestyle: the most exclusive neighbourhood in the city along with luxurious, serene and peaceful surroundings.

The 17 story tower was designed by Architect Victor Cuadra, who carefully envisioned everything down to the smallest details and finishes to give future residents the very best, including: A main lobby, illuminated by an elegant picture window with a waiting room for visitors, a social area, party room, gym, recreation area, underground parking, 13 floors of sumptuous 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, a penthouse, all with contemporary finishes, luxury kitchens, spectacular views and more.

Make no mistake, Regency Tower’s luxury and will redefine elegant living at its finest in Tegucigalpa. It’s beauty and amenities will enhance your life style.

Smile New Twin towers complex in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

On May 27, 2008 the construction company "ETERNA" of San Pedro Sula announced it will build a new office and commercial complex. This will include 2 towers and each 20 stories. Construction is slated to start in the next few days. The new project will be in two phases: The first phase will be the construction of tower no. 1. Immediately following completion of tower number one, the second will be started. The entire project will be completed by 2011. The new complex will be known as "Torres ETERNA" and will be located in the downtown area or commercial district.

Rendering of one of the 20-story twin towers known as "Torres ETERNA".

Remarks: It is too bad I can't add the above rendering in my original main thread...

    Thank you.
