Is the weather always foggy in Beijing?

I believe so.

As you might already know, that became an issue ealier this month for the upcoming and planned Olympic games to be held there this summer.

Officials were wondering whether to go on as planed and let the games begin.

No not fog thats pollution. It is so polluted in that city you can actually stare at the sun (i did). They also say breathing one day of Beijing's city air is the equivalent of smoking 77 cigarettes in one day, causing cancers and tumors to become a normal thing.

Quite sad actually.. I could never live in such a place.

Yeah, I saw on the news yesterday, that they also want to eliminate traffic delays by rotating vehicles with odd and even number license plates.

In other words, vehicles with odd LP numbers drive one day, the ones with even LP numbers drive the next day.

They feel that doing that would cut down on some of the pollution there. This method is also supposed to help ease traffice congestion during the Olympic Games.
