"need to be creative because its not your city", hm thats a very bad exuse! Its ok to make new threads, but i think its still wrong to take exact copies of other forums. You could easilly just take a rendering and a U/C pic and say its 800m tall, would make a better start thread than these copies.

In order for this new forum to flourish, there must be an archival base of material which, unfortunately or fortunately, already exists in SSC. Right now, EVERY picture counts as this forum is gaining momentum and yes, it's the old and existing SSC members that give it life. After a while, obviously differentiations will begin to appear and this forum will develop its own style.

Back on our topic now, what I like in Burj Dubai is its "imperial" style, reminiscent of the American art-deco scrapers with somewhat larger bases and pencil-neck frames. Piece of art this one it is and I hope it gets completed on time. This building alone is a great asset for Dubai.
