Art deco usa muchos elementos geométricos, repetitivos y se caracteriza por la simetría creo que tedría que ver ese tipo de rombo para ver a lo que te refieres.

Edificios famosos que muestran el Art Deco en su esplendor son el Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Hotel Waldorf Astoria & Rockefeller Center en New York City & El distrito en Ocean Drive en South Beach Florida.

Si, por todo SJ hay casas así–esas que no les ves el techo. Yo nací en Ave 12, calle 15, en una casa de los 30's, con zaguán, tapiz. Luego, nos pasamos a otra a la vuelta, también con zaguán, cielos rasos altos, con inodoros que tenían el tanque arriba, paredes gruesas y detalles que ahora no se usan. En los 70's nos pasamos a Tibás, estilo casa Bauhaus, supongo.

Gracias, Ran, por este thread. A mi me gusta mucho este estilo-en aquella época debió sentirse futurista. En San José abundan casas de estilo estilo (Barrio Luján, Barrio México, sur del Paseo Colón, Amón, Otoya etc, etc)

Con mucho gusto la verdad el Art Deco me fascina en todas sus ramificaciones muebles, arquitectura, textiles, pintura, joyeria y hasta en el cine con "Metropolis" una de mis películas preferidas.

Me encantaria hacer un tour en C.R. y fotografiar esas bellas casas y edificios.
