|  Proposed» [Now a 60m Sky wheel] Transit Centre Twin Towers: (101F & 70F)   MASSIVE NEWS!!!!! 101 STOREY/323m+ TO ROOF TWIN SUPERTALLS Today's Sydney Morning Herald: Another tower for Surfers Portberg Property has upped the ante to competitors with its submission (artist's impression pictured) for a $850 million 101-storey residential and commercial redevelopment of the Surfers Paradise Transit Centre tower. If built the property will eclipse Sunland's Q1 site on the Gold Coast. The architects are Marchese + Partners International. Portberg managing director, James Cirulis, said the project was fully underwritten by Winchester Group, an associate of merchant bank Gresham Partners. Mr Cirulis submitted a formal expression of interest to the Gold Coast City Council last week covering the acquisition and development of the Transit Centre.
