skylinearth, since u are from Thessaloniki can u tell us about the weather conditions in the area? Is fog a major problem?

Originally this is what I thought, but I doubt it will have a major impact on Athens Arrivals. I still think Athens will need to be expanded very soon.

But on topic, This looks to be a very lovely design. Much better than the bland design of Athens.

Yes, fog is a quite significant problem, but not too much to be compared with London's fog for example. Sometimes wind can cause problems too. Bank of mist caused problems today in Athens:http://news.ert.gr/en/10/21515.asp

Giorgos, if they build this one, Athen's traffic will stop. Many international flights will be from Thessaloniki (wich is good for the city). So, I guess they won't plan expanding Athens ,at least , soon.
