I mean ir yamim in netanya is hardly selling for the prices you mentioned, and its regarded a more luxury and in-demand place. |
Maybe the prices quoted me were a starting price for negotiations. These were the prices for apartments that were walking distance to the Bat Yam Beach and surrounding a big public park. I visited the planning department in Bat Yam and there are zoning plans for 7 hotels in front of the building right on the beach.
Right now there is on hotel that is being demolished in order to build a new building in it's place. I was told that the developer who is doing this hotel is in negotiations with Sun hotel next to the one he is demolishing. He has hopes to build 3 hotels in Bat Yam.
further to the south there will be a sports center and another 4000 apartments. All and all the area will be very different than the rest of Bat Yam.
The light rail line is also starting there are streets that have been cleared and work is beginning. It will have a stop 3/4 kilometer from the buildings that are now going up in south Bat Yam.
