Empezamos el hilo con una gran noticia para España:

España superará este año los 60 millones de turistas extranjeros

* El gasto medio por turista extranjero cae desde los 646 euros a los 628 euros
* La afluencia de visitantes del Reino Unido y Alemania se estanca

MADRID.- España recibió 59,7 millones de turistas extranjeros en 2007, lo que supone un incremento del 2% respecto al ejercicio anterior, según las estimaciones de la patronal del sector, Exceltur. Para este año, las previsiones son alcanzar los 60,7 millones de visitantes.

Mientras que los principales mercados emisores de turistas hacia España -Reino Unido y Alemania- mostraron síntomas de estancamiento, dos mercados relevantes por su mayor capacidad de gasto aunque menor volumen de afluencia, el nórdico y el norteamericano, se han recuperado.

El sector hotelero se apuntó en 2007 un récord de las pernoctaciones, recuperando los niveles registrados en 1999, con un incremento en las mismas del 6,3% en los establecimientos urbanos y del 0,7% en los vacacionales.
