|  New I-35 Bridge opens in Minnisota. The new high-tech I-35 bridge in Minnisota has just opened to traffic this morning following a slow-moving salute ceremony! The new bridge was purposely built to replace the old one which had collapsed and plunged into the Mississippi River, killing 13 people last summer. The new bridge also features a few high-tech advantages, including automatic load sensors that will alert officials when the bridge has reached it load limit capacity to avoid the same tragedy that occured last summer.
