That's true, however, corrupt officials make it even harder.

A lot of the poverty in Israel is also due to the ultra orthodox having very large families. Bne'Brack is one of the poorest cities in the country The men there spend there time studying and having babies. There is economic opportunity in Israel just look at all the traffic jams. The slang word for a car in Israel used to be "private". That was short for a private car only the rich had a private cars. Years ago no one had money to travel. There was a big tax added to every airline ticket (travel tax) as well as a limit to the amount of foreign currency allowed to be taken on your trip.

Israel started 60 years ago almost in a 3rd world.. No roads, no pipes, no nothing...alot of malaria and stuff....just gives proof as to where these "palestinians" were exactly...

things chance and Israel emerged...
Israel changed from where i grew up. I never saw many malls, i never saw many brand names. All i saw is a small mini supermarket, a little plaza and alot of fun

i also remember these clothes i used to have...very cheaply made and alot of neon...

Now take a trip to Bnei'Brak. It's a throw back to earlier times of the country. There aren't many modern conveniences there. Those that work for the almighty make up a big percentage of the poverty in Israel. If you look at statistical comparisons between cities in Israel Bnei'Brak will be at the bottom. I guess the almighty doesn't provide for all those that are working for him. He seems to be providing more for the people of Savion Just look at the pictures in this thread

First off, God tells us to work and gives plenty of examples in Proverbs, so there is no excuse for people to be dependant on others and at the same time say they are doing God's work. I remember when I was in Israel me and my Uncle went to the supermarket and this religious boy came up and offered to to pray for us if we gave him money, my uncle was so ticked off.
