Wow!
I love it. I always wanted Patras to get the F1, it will boost its profile.

Is it approved or just a project ?
We are waiting for the approval. The government changed a law in order to heavily subsidize it, so I guess it will eventually get approved.
And let me add that there are support projects for the circuit:
- Improvement on the road of Patras - Kalavryta (that will connect also the circuit with the city)
- The military airport of Araxos will become civiliant.
And 3 major infrastructure projects for Greece are about to begin, that pass through the region
- The huge Ionia Odos to unite the Western Greece until Albania
- The new highway Patras - Athens
- Suburban railway until the city of Patras (from Athens)
Still the city of Patras is constructing several important projects:
-New Port
-Mini Beltway
-High speed interconnections with the Large Beltway
-Metropolitan Optical Network
-New Archaeological Museum
P.S. It is a booming region and nobody has yet noticed!

Good project but how will Greece find a place at the already overcrowded schedule? That's the problematic part in my opinion.
There are plans for a Russian, South African, Pacific and Las Vegas F1 race. It will be hard for Greece to take a place between all those races but you have my best wishes...![]()
