    Default NYC / Hotel Pensylvania / Proposed Tower / Staus; ? / Floors; ? / Compl; ?


    This is a proposed construction project that is presumed to take place not too far from the Empire State Building.

    It is said to be almost as tall as the ESB. It would be built of steel & glass ( in 1st pic below, tower in center).

    Supposedly, a new developer, Vornado, the same one that had originally proposed to build a new 30-story hotel / condo tower on the spot of land that was cleared in downtown Boston for it. The spot where part of the old Filene's store once stood.

    Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino is fuming because the developer had suddenly switched gears after having abandoned the Boston project in favor of the proposed New York City project.

    What ever happened to TalB? He used to be a regular contributor about all things New York, but he has since vanished.

    I don't know. Wish I knew. I hope that he's alright. Thought that he would come back already.

    I miss him giving those bastards at those other forums pure hell about him wanting New York to rebuild the Twins!! Hah!!!!!

    There is no drama here, unlike with those other 3 forums, where there is so much goddamn drama from those drama queens there!!

    I have not posted at Wired New York since last October. I only go there when I get an e-mail notification of someone posting replies about the Freedom Tower and other developments concerning the WTC.

    I haven't even logged in. I go there as an unidentified guest now, because I just don't feel comfortable there any more!! Too many bullys and drama queens hijacking, spamming and trolling the threads there looking to start making deroggetory remarks, arguments and fights!!!
