| Maybe jurors thought the form is too simple. Many Polish forumers voted for this one and almost psyched out after the result was announced , but there's something in the winning project and in its current design, which is very fitting to Gdynia. Gdynia is only 80 year old port city. It's very young and most respectable buildings are built in "marinistic" modernistic style (white and beige colours, rounded corners, flat roofs, some round windows, many wide terraces and big windows etc.). Currently constructed project is in some extent similar to modernistic buildings in many West European harbours. But I still think the siver project was the best (especially the two 120m towers being important to every skyscraper fetishist ).We will wait and see Last edited by NorthPole; 31st October 2006 at 15:10. | |||||||||||
