| It also has some "Fred Flintstone" feeling in it.    A postmodern kitsch offspring between Fred Flintstone and Jabba the Hutt. The exaggerated oriental lines (arches/vaults) and the type of yellowish stone have never been a part of Istanbul's architectural character, where even the mosques were influenced by Byzantine churches like Hagia Sophia. A similar mistake was made with the New Galata Bridge (designed by a German who dreamt of an exaggeratedly oriental and non-existant Istanbul)
