Alsancak’taki yüksek katlı binalara Aksoy Residence-Alışveriş Merkezi ekleniyor. Mimar Orhan Erdil’in post-modern tarzda tasarladığı 20 katlı yapı, Ege’nin zengin sanat tarihi ve kültürel mirasını yansıtıyor. Antik Yunan ve Roma ile günümüz mimarisinden esinlenildiği belirtiliyor. Akdeniz tarzı yaşama uygun büyük balkonlu, mutfaklı ve ferah evlerle yeni bir ''residence'' anlayışı getireceği ifade ediliyor.
İzmir Limanı karşısında yapımı devam eden binada 66 daire yer alıyor. 90 metrekare ile 220 metrekare arasında değişen 2+1 ve 3+1 lüks konutların tümü Körfez manzaralı. Her biri, satın alan kişilerin tercihlerine göre özel olarak dekore ediliyor.
İnşaat mühendisi Selim Erdil, fiyatları 270 bin YTL’den başlayan dairelerin aralık ayında teslim edileceğini kaydediyor. Erdil, Mart 2008’de tamamlanacak alışveriş merkezinin 4 katlı ve 16 bin metrekarelik olacağını, 80 mağaza, 4 sinema salonu, restoran ve kafelerle spor merkezinin bulunacağını vurguluyor.
