    In 2011, a Modern Shopping Mall will Open its Doors in Northwest Bogota

    With an investment that will exceed 600,000 million pesos, on AV Boyaca with 80 street, the TITAN PLAZA is being built, a mall with an construction area of 176,000 square meters; 54,000 square meters of commercial area and 2,400 parking lots.

    This new architectural project will have more than 220 commercial stores with a great universe of entertainment, fashion, home, food and fun products.

    Titan Plaza will count with the most developed entertainment concept of the moment: the FUN LEVEL. In this level a film multiplex with four VIP halls for alternative film, will be open and also theatres for commercial movies.

    In addition, it will offer the innovative concept of the Sports Club, 3,500 square meters of restaurants, theaters, beach zones, event plaza, amusement parks and 5,000 square meters of green zones and the biggest meeting point in Bogota, turning into one pf the most innovative commercial platforms in Colombia.

    During the construction of the project, 1,000 direct and indirect jobs will be crated for the two years that the construction will last. Once the mall is open, more than 2,000 permanent jobs will be available.

    25% of the total investment is capital comino from direct foreign investment.

    To the date, this project counts with the participation of international brands such as Esprit, Zara, Mango, Bershka, Stradivarius, Tommy Hilfiger, Nine West, Nike, Chevigńon, Americanino and Falabella. In the same manner, Cine Colombia, Carrefour, Panamericana and Playland.

    The project gathers the experience of Ospinas y Cía. S.A. of about half a million square meters in shopping malls and operation stands in Colombia and the commercial surface studies in several continents as well as Cusezar S.A. with their construction experience of more than nine million square meters built in Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Salvador and USA.

    The investments that will be realized are an example of the need to continue to push projects that contribute to the dynamism of the economy and facilitate the generation of more demand for goods and services in the city and at the same time achieving to equip the city with optimum quality infrastructure for the wellbeing of the citizens," affirmed Andres Arango Sarmiento, president of Ospinas y Cía. S.A.
