Also True. But NQ and Regional Queensland roads are at a point were there beyond repairable. Lobbying for the last 10 years has really done nothing, Only a few million here and there for botch jobs that only last for two weeks.

Most of the money is put up by the company building it. The only way to get this to happen is by building Toll roads!

Yeah but the population just isnt there for tolls imo. The roads a really just a heap of shit and unsafe to drive on for P platers like myself, the roads bairly can fit a car on them.

So are a good number of Roads in Brisbane. Plus more people drive on these roads per hour. I have driven on both roads (around NQ and around Brisbane) many times and I believe they are on par with each other with regards to quality, however many many more people drive on the roads in Brisbane!

I get where you guys are comeing from but the point iam stressing is the fact that the roads up here are just being neglected. They really need some sort of massive upgrade. There is no hope for cities like Mackay Townsville and Cairns when it comes to the cyclone season because the cities just get cut off easy.
