Lol, except if you coming from the GC or Ipswich. But yeah if your travelling from Pine Rivers or Caboolture, the last part of your trip to the city is suburban roads WITH traffic lights.

Biggest Projects? I would've thought the Eastern Busway was bigger than the Northern Busway, which won't even be used at all except for the 333!

Also, I think this Airportlink project is needed much more than the NSBT because Brisbane seems to be the only city in Australia where you have to drive through a suburban area WITH traffic lights to get to the city... So I bloody hope they hurry it up.

Really? I love big concrete freeways like the M1 and I don't mind if they slice through a few suburbs to get where they have to go. 8 lanes, it's brilliant.

I find tunnels just unpleasant to drive in and coming in from the airport is that a great way to greet Brisbane? You don't even see Brisbane!

And as we all know these 2 lanes won't suffice so down the road they'll need to expand it and it's way easier to expand a freeway. In fact I don't see how they could even expand these tunnels.

But you know, it's pointless trying to build freeways in Australia, too many nimbys.
