| Yes the will, but they're trying to integrate it with tunnel work for the northern busway at the same time - I get this info from one of the transport planning documents.

| The following quote is from the Northern Busway CDIMP (Concept Design and Impact Management Plan) which is available at Northern Busway - final Concept Design and Impact Management Plan "To integrate with the Airport Link, the CDIMP is based on the busway being delivered in two stages: - By 2012 (interim busway) – constructed and operational concurrently with the proposed Airport Link. This includes the parts of the ultimate busway at the southern end of the study corridor (between RCH and across Enoggera Creek) and the northern end (between Stoneleigh Street and Sadlier Street), with interim measures such as bus lanes and bus priority at signalised intersections in between; - By 2026 (ultimate busway) – construction of the remaining parts of the busway in the middle section through Windsor to replace the interim measures. This staging is indicative only and the delivery of individual sections may occur earlier depending on factors such as if traffic conditions become too congested or busway performance declines. Should the proposed Airport Link not proceed, TransLink would need to reconsider the concept design and the proposed staged delivery of the busway due to the difficulties in running buses on sections of Lutwyche Road in dedicated bus lanes between Northey and Stoneleigh Streets." To get an idea of what the busway will look like, take a look at chapters 5 (ultimate busway) and 6 (interim busway). Also, more general info on the Northern Busway is on Translink's page: Northern Busway Enjoy!
