The reason they never have really built tunnels in Brisbane, is because the government said that the bedrock underneath Brisbane is to hard. That was their excuse for not having a Subway in the first place. But with the advanced tunneling techniques today there really shoudn't be an excuse.
There is one problem with this plan, the North-west suburbs are completely left out, these are the ones having the most trouble with transport, suburbs like Ashgrove and the gap need something like this as they do not posess a train line.

That looks fantastic! Well done Heidewitzka! That would be a costly exercise, but the benefits to Brisbane would be incomprehensible.

Lucky Brisbane Subway System
East and West rail lines are about 20km, North/South are about 30km loop

Green East it just a colour I gave the East loop... Ill remove that as its a bit confusing

Yeah, it was a good idea of his. I had actually toyed with the prospect in the past but I didnt know as much about brisbane at the time, so I dragged this up and heavily modified and expanded it
