but, international companies and cities recongises UQ more then QUT because of being the top uni in the sunshine state which i reckon its a load of bulldust i really love getting into QUT but, as an Asian, your parents would like to push you into UQ then QUT and they had since telling me that you wont get anything for being a town planner... im doing urban development (urban and regional planning) i hope i see you in QUT next year (hopefully if i get in) and yes i agree with you about our region thriving i always wished we can surpass melbourne but it doesnt looks like we can now Last edited by bne123; 21st November 2007 at 04:54.. | ||||||||||||

| 'When it comes to the built environment, QUT is superior to UQ... ' I was doing Arch for 4 years at QUT, it was not very good at all. But they did require us to work and study at the same time, which was great becasue I got real world experience and... money. I'll be going to UWA in 2009/10 to finish it off. I believe QUT does have some good courses, aparently business is good there. But really after going into the real world for a while you notice you are just paying for an education you could pull of the internet. That probably sums up ALL universities. | A mate of mine went to Griffith and he said it was a good course. His main complaints were the location. Wouldn't be such a bad choice at all! Wouldn't have a clue about the Science though.

| I live near the campus where they teach the course (Nathan), probably take me 10 mins catching the bus.But the only thing that worries me is the reputation for the uni. | |||||||||||
